Within SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.x, if you choose to authenticate to the application using the single sign-on (SSO) method and you configure the SSO ID field to contain an invisible non-ASCII character, the sign-on fails.
The invalid content is typically entered into the SSO ID field via a cut-and-paste operation (that is, from Microsoft Outlook or a similar email client).
Currently, the application does correctly validate the content of the UserID field when creating a new user, but the application does not validate the SSO ID field.
Workaround
To work around this issue, manually enter the values for the SSO ID field. (That is, do not cut and paste the content.)
A fix for this issue will be considered for a future software release.
