After you upgrade to LTS 2025.09, you might not be able to publish models or categories from SAS Model Manager.
This issue occurs if you upgrade SAS® Viya® from a release earlier than 2025.06.

Pod Changes
“The sas-model-management and sas-model-repository pods were merged into a new pod named sas-model-manager. Pod changes might affect the software update process and the tuning and configuration of pods. You must also apply a new license for the SAS Model Manager Combo product when updating your SAS Viya platform software to the 2025.09 release from a release prior to 2025.06.”
Per the bolded documentation excerpt, you need to request a new license from the Licensing Department that contains the new SAS Model Manager combo product name. You do not need to buy any new product, but the new SAS Model Manager combo product name must appear in the new license.
