Making changes in a dimension's member might cause poor performance in SAS® Financial Management 5.6 client applications

In SAS Financial Management 5.6, when you change, move, create, or delete a member of any dimension, poor performance can occur. Specifically, poor performance occurs in the following scenarios:

The waiting time increases with the number of formulas defined in your environment.

In some scenarios, the client applications might stop responding for a long time. The logs at the client and server side do not contain information during this time freeze.

SAS developers released a fix for this issue in SAS Financial Management 5.62. Note that earlier releases might be affected by the issue.
