In SAS Financial Management 5.61, you can "Publish Reports from a Batch File" by following the instructions in the SAS^® Financial Management 5.4: Process Administrator's Guide. In addition, if the script fails to run, you could complete the suggestion described in SAS KB0043107, "The "Publishing Reports from a Batch File" might fails in SAS^® Financial Management 5.5 and later versions."

Although the "Publish Reports from a Batch File" process successfully completes, an issue might occur where an extra Microsoft Excel file remains open.

This issue is fixed in SAS^® Financial Management 5.61 via a hot fix.
