In SAS Visual Investigator Admin ► Child Entity Type ► Conditions, the value drop-down list to the right of Equals displays No data found when the field on the left side is a parent reference-list field.

The condition value for the child object initially appears empty in the configuration, even though the parent field displays the correct value (Yes).

After you click Save, the value is displayed, and you can select it successfully.

However, after you refresh the page, the same behavior reoccurs: the Condition field appears empty again, even though the condition is still displayed correctly below the Condition line.

Cause

This issue occurs when you complete steps similar to the following:

1. Create a condition on a Child Entity Type.
2. Select a reference-list field from the Parent Entity Type as the condition’s left-side field.

This issue does not occur when the following is true:

• The Child Entity Type also contains a reference-list field of the same list, and the condition uses the parent reference-list field. (In this scenario, the drop-down list is correctly displayed.)
