SAS® Studio Explorer displays the hidden current folder directory as a single dot


In SAS® Studio 2025.08 and later, hidden directories are displayed as a single dot in the Navigation pane. This issue occurs when you enable the Display hidden folders and items on the file system option from SAS Studio ► the button on the top right ► Settings ► SAS Studio ► General. 

Enable the "Display hidden folders and items on the file system" option from SAS Studio ► the button on the top right ► Settings ► SAS Studio ► General. 

As a result, a list of hidden directories might be displayed as a single dot in the Navigation Pane, as shown in the following image:

A patch is available for LTS 2025.09 and for Stable 2025.10.

This issue is fixed in SAS® Studio 2025.12 and later.
