The "Required" property check box does not render correctly in SAS® Visual Investigator


The Required check box in the Properties window does not display the correct information for entity fields that are marked with a required Condition in the SAS Visual Investigator - Manage Investigation and Search page. 

The conditionally required constraint on the field is still enforced even if the required property check box does not render correctly.

For example, the following images show that the Required check box is cleared even though a condition constraint is specified for the Middle name field.

The "Required" check box is cleared and there is a Condition on the field.

has_middle_name equals "1"

This issue is reported in SAS® Visual Investigator 10.8 Hot Fix 15 and Hot Fix 16 and will be fixed in Hot Fix 17.

There is no workaround for this issue.
