In SAS® Visual Analytics, a graphical object that you place inside a container can sometimes render as a blank area when you view the report. This behavior occurs not only in custom reports but also in some of the delivered administrative reports.
This issue typically occurs when you save a report while a graphical object is in a zoomed state. In certain scenarios, the zoom state persists with the report and can prevent the object from rendering correctly at view time.
Common scenarios include the following:
A practical workaround is to edit the report and disable automatic filtering. Then, save the report. This workaround reduces the likelihood that an unintended zoom state is retained and prevents the blank rendering when viewing.
A patch is in development to address this issue. The fix is intended to ensure that a graph’s zoom state is reset when you save or update the report, preventing the zoom state from persisting in a way that impacts rendering.
