If you create a calculated item that uses the AggregateTable function and then use that calculated item in any graph or table in a SAS® Visual Analytics report, the following warning might be displayed on the object:
Only xxx rows of the data appear.
where xxx depends on the object in use
Here is an example with the Key Value object:
This issue occurs because the AggregateTable function incorrectly compares the calculation results against the different row limit settings in SAS Visual Analytics. If the AggregateTable function results exceed any of these limits, the warning is displayed on the graph or table.
Resolution or Workaround
This behavior is incorrect and is due to a software defect. This issue is fixed in SAS® Viya® Stable 2026.02.
