If you use Simplified Chinese IME (Microsoft Pinyin) on Windows Server OS to enter Simplified Chinese characters into the SAS Enterprise Guide editor, the following behaviors might occur:

• No Chinese Character list selection is displayed.
• The cursor automatically switches to an unexpected position.

There is no workaround for this issue.

The issue is fixed in SAS^® Enterprise Guide^® 8.6 Hot Fix 3.
