An error occurs in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.6 when a user without READ permissions in the Public folder tries to open SAS content.
A change in permissions in SAS® Environment Manager that prohibits UserA from accessing the Public folder causes this issue.
Specifically, this issue occurs when you log on to SAS Enterprise Guide 8.6 as UserA and then click SAS content from the server.
There is no workaround for this issue.
The issue will be fixed in SAS Enterprise Guide 8.6.
