SAS® Environment Manager becomes unresponsive or errors occur when you open the Users folder due to an authorization decisions delay


When you navigate to Contents ► Folders ► SAS Content ► Users in SAS Environment Manager, the interface suspends or becomes unresponsive.

In the browser developer tools (Network or HAR), the following error or similar authorization-related request failures also occur: 

I/O error on POST request for "/authorization/decisions"

This issue is caused by high authorization evaluation overhead in SAS® Viya® environments when the number of objects and identities being evaluated is high.
