When you open a SAS Financial Management form or template, the following message might be displayed:

Add Sensitivity Label. Your organization require you to label this document before editing

This message occurs when Microsoft Sensitivity labels are enabled to help classify, secure, and manage access to sensitive data.

In this scenario, you can open all of the existing templates from SAS Financial Management Studio. However, you might be unable to save the templates because the Save Template option appears to be disabled (that is, greyed out).

In addition, if you create a new template, you must select a Sensitivity Label to be able to save the template with the Save Template option.

The problem might affect all the SAS^® Financial Management 5.x versions.

Workaround

To work around this issue, complete the following steps: 

1. Open SAS Financial Management. In the Form workspace, select the formset with the problem. (For example, “Form without label”.)
2. If you do not want to change the existing template, do as follows:
   1. Export the formset as spk.
   2. Select the Phase where you want to create the new formset.
   3. Import the spk. Enter a new name (“Form New”) to complete the import. 
3. Open the template associated with “Form New”. The issue still occurs with the template.
4. Assign a Sensitivity Label and save the Microsoft Excel file to your PC. The file path must not be the same as the default (C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My SAS Files\FMTempFiles). 
5. Close Microsoft Excel.
6. Open the file that you saved from the previous steps. The label is already defined. On the SAS Financial Management menu, select the login option and enter your credentials
7. The Save Template option is enabled. You must save the template and replace the existing template.

The issue does not occur after you recreate the template with the Sensitivity Label. 

Note: A similar issue might occur when you use the Save Form Design option. In this scenario, contact SAS Technical Support by opening a new case.
