An issue might occur where your mouse pointer freezes when you complete steps similar to the following in SAS Visual Investigator:

1. Open a page in the Manage Investigate and Search Interface that includes a Child-Object Viewer control. 
2. When the page is displayed, click the Child-Object Viewer control.
3. In the Child-Object Viewer Properties pane, click the + next to Fields.
4. In the Add Fields dialog box, scroll through the list and click a few fields to add.

At this point, the control over your mouse freezes, and the focus might jump off the current page. 

There is no workaround for this issue.
