PROC GLIMMIX might generate incorrect results when all of the following conditions are met: 

• You specify RSPL, MSPL, RMPL, or MMPL for the METHOD= option in the PROC GLIMMIX statement.
• You specify the DIST=MULTINOMIAL option and either the LINK=CLOGIT option or LINK=GLOGIT option in the MODEL statement.
  
• You specify a WEIGHT statement.
  
• You specify a RANDOM statement.

The defaults are METHOD=RSPL and LINK=CLOGIT, so the problem also occurs if you omit either of these options.

This issue occurs starting in SAS/STAT^® Release 9.1M3.

Workaround

There is no workaround for this issue.

This issue is fixed in SAS^® Viya^® Stable Release 2026.06 (June 2026).
