SAS Studio 2026.05 might incorrectly state that no items are available when you right-click a repository to check out a branch. This issue occurs when you try to check out a branch immediately after opening a GIT repository without selecting any other tabs or completing any other actions.

For example, this issue occurs when you complete steps similar to the following:

1. Click the History tab in the SAS Studio GIT interface.
2. Right-click a branch.
3. The option to Checkout branch is not displayed, and a message incorrectly states No Items are available:

If you navigate away from the tab (such as History) and click a different one (such as Commit), you can then re-click the original tab (History). After right-clicking a branch, you are then offered the option to check out a branch.

This issue is fixed in SAS^® Studio Stable 2026.06.
