When you apply a hot fix for SAS® Marketing Automation 6.7 or SAS® Marketing Optimization 6.7 on Windows, the installation instructions might require you to delete the com.sas.app.launcher.cacheFile file.
After deleting this file and initiating a Rebuild Web Applications operation through SAS® Deployment Manager, the Web Infrastructure Platform configuration step might report a Configuration Failure.
The associated log might end with an error similar to the following:
Caused by: com.sas.tools.webappconfig.util.WebAppConfigException: Timeout trying to access the versioned jar repository
This issue occurs because the rebuild process might temporarily timeout while accessing the SAS Versioned JAR Repository after you delete the com.sas.app.launcher.cacheFile file.
Although the configuration process reports a failure, this condition is typically temporary and does not indicate a permanent issue with the hot fix installation.
If the configuration log ends with the timeout error message, select Retry in the Configuration Failure window. The rebuild process should continue successfully after retrying.
