PROC UNIVARIATE stops processing with long labels in PROBPLOT or QQPLOT prior to SAS® 9.2 TS1M0


If a variable specified in the PROBPLOT or QQPLOT statement in PROC UNIVARIATE has a label longer than 40 characters, the procedure terminates and one of the following messages occurs in the log:

ERROR: Read Access Violation In Task [ UNIVARIATE )

Segmentation Violation In Task [ UNIVARIA ]

To circumvent this problem, specify a shorter label or remove the label with a null LABEL statement in PROC UNIVARIATE.
