When you use SAS to launch a program in Microsoft Windows from outside the local host, the launch might fail with the following error message:
You encounter this issue when you call the command using any X function type, such as X, PIPE, CALL SYSTEM, %SYSEXEC, and so on. Running the command outside of SAS might trigger a security warning in Windows that indicates that the file is not from a trusted location.
This issue can be caused if the Do not preserve zone information in file attachments group policy has been disabled.
To work around the issue, enable the Do not preserve zone information in file attachments group policy, which is located here: User Configuration ► Administrative Templates ► Windows Components ► Attachment Manager.
