SAS/GRAPH Software is required in order to use the HISTOGRAM, PROBPLOT or QQPLOT statements in PROC UNIVARIATE.

If SAS/GRAPH Software is not installed and any of these statements are specified, PROC UNIVARIATE will terminate with a Segmentation Violation or messages such as:

  ERROR: Read Access Violation In Task [ UNIVARIATE ]

  ERROR: Unable to load transient module (Bridge failure).

If SAS/QC^® is available, PROC CAPABILITY can be used to generate low-resolution histograms, probability plots and quantile-quantile plots.
