Core dumps or segmentation violations might occur when you use the SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL server with DataDirect release 6.1 when a blank database name is in the odbc.ini file. The driver name that indicates this release with SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL server is S0sqls25.so.
To circumvent these problems, do not configure data source names with blank database values.
To fix this issue, download and install the DataDirect release 7.0.1 from DataDirect SQL Server Drivers.
