SAS/GRAPH Software must be installed in order to run PROC BOXPLOT. If SAS/GRAPH Software is not installed, PROC BOXPLOT will abend with a message such as:

ERROR:Read Access Violation In Task [ BOXPLOT ]

or a Segmentation Violation.
