Running a Base SAS® procedure against a DB2 table might result in an error


Running a FREQ, RANK, REPORT, SORT, SUMMARY/MEANS, or TABULATE procedure against a DB2 table in the z/OS operating environment might result in an error. Running any of these Base SAS procedures might result in one these errors:

ERROR: Error during in-database processing. ERROR: General error

The problem occurs if the SASTKTS DB2 plan has not been created or the SAS® system option DB2RRS is in effect.

To work around this issue, set the system option SQLGENERATION=none.
