When you use SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office to insert new records into a table, the new records might not be added to the bottom of the table as selected in the Create New Records dialog box:

This issue can occur when you attempt to insert records into a DBMS table such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. Because SAS has no control over where records are inserted into a DBMS table, the Append to bottom of data option is ignored.
