When you are connected to a local SAS Server and you submit any code within SAS Enterprise Guide, the following errors might occur:
An error occurred executing the workspace job "XXXXXXXXXX". The server is disconnected.
SAS EG 7.1 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
In this situation, the connection to local SAS is successful, which is indicated by the green check box on Local, and SAS Foundation successfully submits code.
Note: The option Suppress graph option statements in generated code enables you to suppress the GOPTIONS statement that is automatically added to the SAS code that SAS Enterprise Guide generates. You might want to select this option if you do not have SAS/GRAPH® software installed on your SAS server. If you select this option, then the values for the Default Graph Dimensions option and the Create accessible graphs when possible option are overridden. If you do not have SAS/GRAPH software installed on your SAS server, then the GOPTIONS statement generates an error in the log file.
