When you use the SAS Enterprise Guide Import Data task to import Microsoft Excel files, data might be incorrectly imported if you select the Use a predefined named range option. Specifically, new rows are not imported if you modify the Microsoft Excel file to add new rows and change the range, and then you execute the Import Data task from the Process Flow one more time.
No error message occurs.
As workaround, you can modify the Import Data Task. Select the Use a worksheet option, and then switch to the Use a predefined named range option. Click Finish when you are done.
In this way, new rows are correctly added in the output data set.
