SAS® Enterprise Guide® displays "Unable to load the children for the item named xxx" when expanding Libraries or Files


SAS Enterprise Guide might display the following error when you try to expand either Server ► Libraries or Server ► Files in the Servers list:

Unable to load the children for the item named "Libraries" (or "Files")

This problem can occur if the My Documents folder or the Desktop folder is not accessible to you. For example, this problem might occur if you are using SAS Enterprise Guide installed on Citrix or similar applications.
