If you are using SAS Enterprise Guide in a language other than English, you might encounter the following problem when opening Recent Items.

For example, you encounter this issue when you complete steps similar to the following.

1. Use SAS Enterprise Guide in the Italian language.
2. Double-click any recent item to open it. Nothing happens. The following screenshot shows the Recent Items tab in Italian (Elementi rencenti):

To avoid this behavior, you can use one of these workarounds:

• Set your SAS Enterprise Guide language to English.
• Open your items by using File ► Open on the main menu.
• Right-click a recent item and select Open.
