Indexing might fail when you have child entities with multiple primary keys in SASĀ® Visual Investigator

Full or incremental indexing might fail in SAS Visual Investigator if you have child entities with multiple primary keys.

When you encounter this problem, the following error message occurs in your sas-vi-indexer log:

Java.sql.SQLException: [SAS][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]The incoming request has too many parameters. The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters. Reduce the number of parameters and resend the request.

The workaround for this issue is to create a computed column on both the parent entity and the child entity. Then, use that computed column as the primary key instead.
