The Export to Excel option is suspended during the download on the Permissions page of the SAS Visual Investigator - Manage Investigate and Search user interface if there are too many users or user groups to download.  

It appears that the Export to Excel API enters an infinite loop, which causes the Export to Excel option to freeze on the Permissions page. Specifically, the infinite API calls occur when you export more than 100 users and more than 50 groups. 

There is currently no workaround for this issue.
